Terminal Ghost is built around a simple philosophy: authenticity over spectacle.
Real terminal commands, realistic operating environments, believable security obstacles, and investigations that reward curiosity instead of hand-holding. Players will encounter firewalls, administrators, hidden services, backdoors, social engineering opportunities, and multiple ways to approach a target.
The goal isn't to simulate Hollywood hacking. The goal is to create the feeling of sitting alone in front of a glowing monitor at 2AM, chasing a lead that might eventually take you all the way to The Gibson.
About This Game
Terminal Ghost is an authentic terminal-driven hacking simulation inspired by the hacker culture of the 1980s and 1990s. Players are dropped directly into a command prompt and must investigate networks, discover vulnerabilities, gather intelligence, and navigate realistic systems to achieve a single objective:
